Understanding and Performing Basic Information Technology Audits

During this half-day training, you will learn Information Technology (IT) audit strategies and techniques for conducting basic IT audits in your organization, including audits of IT general controls, business application controls, and implementation project controls, and provide examples of each. We will cover how to identify the IT audit population and suggest ways to assess the audit areas and develop your audit plan. Finally, we will discuss steps and techniques to assess the reliability of computer-generated data in performance audits.
